This is weird!

I was having a look at the link you have just added (Why study war?) minutes before you posted it. I was thinking to insert it in Military article but your got it right. Thanks. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 19:27, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Benjamin Franklin worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. city-journal.org

Hey I noticed that all of your edits are for adding city-journal.org links to pages. Do you work for them or something? ~a (usertalkcontribs) 14:18, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

External links spamming!

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

As has been noted by other users, all of your links are for City Journal, this is probably blatant WP:COI; also, this is definitely spam as most of the articles have tenuous links with the subject or are directly critical of them. External links are welcome if they a) "contain further research that is accurate and on-topic" and b) "contain content proper in the context of the article (useful, tasteful, informative, factual, etc.)".
The articles that you have added appear to be written from a distinctively NON-neutral point-of-view (see WP:NPOV) and are neither tasteful nor informative as they appear largely to be diatribes against the subjects (specifically concerning Hip hop music and Graffiti).
This matter has been referred to WP:WPSPAM.
