Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Permaculture, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jschnur (talk) 07:21, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Permaculture. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Jschnur (talk) 22:17, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on PJ Harvey. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 02:43, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are over exaggerating, i reverted an edit once. PJ Harvey's own webpage cites her various occupations *a cis woman growing a philosopher's beard MichelleGDyason 06:34, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Larry Hockett. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. it says either can be either. given Aritotle was writing well before Christ, the dates should be secularized for appropriateness and to remain consistent with todays description of time *a cis woman growing a philosopher's beard MichelleGDyason 17:56, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
