Again, welcome!  -- John Broughton (♫♫) 21:19, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please be patient. I just did a Google search on "Joe Gruttola"; the Wikipedia article was the fourth result. I would guess that the AFALI article will show up within three or four days. Google does not automatically update its database every time an article changes (or appears); it's perfectly normal for the process to take a week or so.

Instead of worrying about Google, I really suggest that you work on improving the articles. As they are now, they are quite susceptible to being deleted, as I mentioned in my response at the Village pump. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 21:19, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with text

The blue stitch box around some text in the American Freestyle Association Long Island article means that there is one or more blank spaces at the beginning of the line of text. Sometimes this is intentional, for example on a "how to" page for Wikipedia editors. In this case it's obviously an error. Why don't you fix it yourself? -- John Broughton (♫♫) 20:59, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of talk page item

Was there some particular reason why you deleted a posting by another editor, on my talk page? I ask because this normally is considered an absolute violation of policy (see WP:TP and WP:TPG). -- John Broughton (♫♫) 19:47, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding american freestlye association of long island.

The articles that you created were deleted because they did not indicate why the subject was notable; therefore, it was presumed to be non-notable and deleted. I did a quick Google search and found virtually no results. Cheers, — Wenli (reply here) 02:31, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jim Johnson (cyclist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Don't think that the AFA Masters is a significant enough competition to prove notability, especially without any references able to be found to verify the (mainly junior) accomplishments.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
