Please do not change properly sourced content

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Special relativity, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 19:32, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please provide proper sources for the new section (Special relativity#Relativistic quantum mechanics) you added to the article. Thank you. DVdm (talk) 19:37, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for these. Keep up the good work. Cheers - DVdm (talk) 18:20, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Meier99: If I am not mistaken, you added a comment to the article Einstein-Cartan Theory (EC) that criticizes EC for not distinguishing half-integer and integer spin. This is a limitation by definition of general relativity and all of classical physics, which is effectively defined as theories in which Planck's constant is approximated as zero. This amounts to criticizing classical physics for not being quantum physics, and it makes no sense to me. In order to be democractic, I have preserve a record of your opinion by moving this idea to the section on criticisms of the validity of EC.

If you want to discuss this, please contact me at rjpetti at gmail dot com, since I don't get here often enought to edit the article on points like this. Thank you. rjpetti Rjpetti (talk) 03:04, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Adolf Hitler article

Hello: I wanted to drop you a line as to your recent edits and additions to this article. First, please see WP:RETAIN, as the English used for this article is Commonwealth English. This includes the way dates are written with the d/m/y. However an article is first written and formatted, that is thereafter continued and retained. Also, please add book cites to your additions, if possible (see WP:VERIFY). Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 15:22, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube links

Hello, please do not add links to YouTube, as you did at Piano trio. YouTube links are usually copyright violations. Graham87 04:27, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've reverted all your edits to that article, because none of them were helpful. In particular, as I told you before, don't link to YouTube clips that violate copyright. Graham87 02:13, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In my country the copyright is not violated, so on the suggested "case by case basis" I would tend to include the link, since it is exceptional (in fact, not a genuine video but only an "audio") and very interesting, indeed, even for the YouTube-people themselves (listen to sound, and see the commentaries in the file). It would complement the full series of three sonatas, (1,2,3): 3 is included by the ogg-files, 1 is in the external links, so I added an external link of 2. But apparently there is no appreciation of the exceptional facts. - Regards, Meier99 (talk) 16:01, 14 March 2012 (UTC) Addendum: :Admittedly, since there was no copyright violation in my country which has very rigorous restrictions concerning that point, I did not check explicitly whether in the USA or the UK this would be different. Inspite of the YouTube's staff final agreement to accept this very long Audio of the Vienna performance as a Video (usually only 10 Minutes or shorter), this noncheck of mine of a possible copyright violation in the USA, Canada or the UK was a definite fault, and if you were true I herewith thank you for the reversion and will rigorously follow your 'not to ...' advice in all cases in future. Sorry! - Nonetheless, in the Wikipedia rules concerning the "case-to-case inclusion or noninclusion of Youtube links to the external links, an explicit and most visible hint to the fact should be added to the Wikipedia rules that a no-copyright violation in a particular state does not automatical imply a non-violation also in the US or the UK. If possible, please take care of that. -- Again with regards, Meier99 (talk) 11:46, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Uh, it even says in the video description: "This video was created from a cassette recording I purchased in 1987", so somebody obviously digitised a commercial recording and put it on YouTube for everyone to see without paying for it, which is a copyright violation in all countries that respect DG's copyright (which probably includes most countries in the world. Graham87 16:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, it is definitely clear now. -- Meier99 (talk) 09:32, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've reverted your most recent edit to that article because it did not cite a source. Graham87 14:20, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

Please stop moving articles and creating unnecessary duplicates of existing articles. Expand the already existing Verona trial article, there is no need to create your personal version of the article (under a very bizarre title, too). And remember to add reliable secondary sources for your addition. My best. Cavarrone 21:15, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, sorry, but it took me some time to note that there is a difference between the lemmas with and alternatively without the article "The". You should bother to skip this difference by a better choice of the lemmas. I must admit that, originally, I did not read the English article, but had the French and the German ones fixed in mind.- Nonetheless, best regards, Meier99 (talk) 08:20, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
