Regarding this article, we might already have this at Age of Consent. --Bfigura (talk) 01:14, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Following these lines, I have now put up this article for AfD. You may wish to express your opinions there. --Mpdelbuono (talk) 13:23, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"... not legally binding to U.S. federal or state laws." I did not claim that it was legally binding, and in fact, before making the edit, had already pointed out that it very possibly wasn't, on the article talk page. You have not said what was "inaccurate" about what I added; perhaps you simply assumed that I assumed it was legally binding, when in fact I was the first to raise questions about that on the article talk page. As for whether it is "irrelevant", Brock Turner is being accused of being a "convicted rapist," and there are some issues with that -- not least of which is the conflict between the FBI's reporting requirements and actual federal law re rape vs. sexual assault, as well as differences with state law, which makes its own distinctions between the two classes of charges. I have since provided a full citation, though in fact (notwithstanding your claim about contravening Wikipedia policy) no perfect citation is absolutely required in this case considering that a simple websearch on even a part of the quote would have verified it, without controversy. Please consider bringing up any remaining issues on the article talk page. Yakushima (talk) 07:17, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
