It's encouraging that as an artist, you are willing to consider Wikipedia featuring one of your works.
Please also read (Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials) which should assist you.
If you want to release it under a 'free' license, then all you need to do is upload an appropriate version with the same filename, fill out the {{information}} box that's generated and choose an appropriate CC-BY or CC-BY-SA license.
(Note if the original work is held by any gallery, rather than yourself, be sure to note this in the information.)
