Hi

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madeira

'Settlement' section contains the following superfluous last line about general Portuguese history, I propose to delete it, is that acceptable please?

After the death of King John VI of Portugal, his usurper son Miguel of Portugal seized power from the rightful heir, his niece Maria II, and proclaimed himself 'Absolute King.'

I agree the sentence seems out of place, and does not have an inline citation. The sentence seems more appropriate in broader articles discussing the history of Portugal and its territories, or about the rulers involved. It is not specifically relevant to the history of Madeira as far as I know. You can try to remove the sentence with an edit summary explaining why. Gap9551 (talk) 15:55, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

class="sortable wikitable" only sorts numerically on 1st of 3 columns

As per subject in

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani_genocide#Estimated_number_of_victims

I'm sure I've seen this behaviour elsewhere.

The column definitions seem OK:

<center> {|class="sortable wikitable" |- !Country !Roma population, 1939 !Number of Victims at least killed !Estimate{{clarify|date=January 2020}} by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum |- |'''[[Albania]]''' |'''20,000''' |'''?''' |'''?''' |- Martin Peter Clarke (talk) 14:34, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Prunus avium - confusing picture description

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunus_avium#/media/File:Ch%C3%A3os_Walk_08_(18233517831).jpg has the comment 'Pair of fruit growing from the same stem'. I see no pair. Martin Peter Clarke (talk) 15:04, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
