My response to the below: before making the edit to the Chinlund article I provided a justification (with a source) in the Talk page. In correspondence with user LiamUJ, I learned that my edit was flagged as "potentially destructive." In fact I was removing an uncited statement in the first sentence, which was false and for which I had a citation in the New York Times. LiamUJ did not see my Talk page entry and presumably user AccessCrawl did not either.

I only recently saw that the edit had been reverted. I explained the issue to LiamUJ and Accesscrawl, and recently reinstated my edit to the Chinlund article with reference to my comment on the Talk page.

Information icon Hello, I'm Accesscrawl. I noticed that you recently removed content from James Chinlund without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Discuss first.
