Unspecified source/license for File:Betplus.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Betplus.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 19:00, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sistas & The Oval

Hello, just some friendly advice. Please read WP:COPYVIO. You copy pasted character descriptions into these TV articles which is a copyright violation. Wikipedia generally frowns upon this and repeated violations could result in warnings and potentially a block. I know you may not be aware of this rule so I figured I'd just mention for you so you know in the future. I have removed the copyrighted content from these pages. Thanks. Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission, as you did at A Madea Family Funeral. Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Moneytrees🌴Talk🌲Help out at CCI! 02:56, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Excuse me I did copy and paste but only the information that wrote in my own words and I did not have time to start all over. You would know that if you checked the editing history page for A Madea Family Funeral. I was just simply trying to fix the plot section again since it was a mess. I don’t believe I did anything wrong or illegal. Marcdilworth (talk) 07:16, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It's hard to follow what you are saying. You seem to be agreeing you did copy and paste, but that you didn't copy someone else's words, only your own words. Your edit appeared to copy content from here. That site is marked as copyright. It's possible that this is your own site, in which case please modify the terms of use to indicate that all contents there are licensed under GDFL or one of the acceptable creative commons licenses. Alternatively, if that site copied content from an earlier version of the Wikipedia page (this frequently happens), that wouldn't allow you to paste content unless you were the original author. So, in the end, this unblock request is not specific enough to determine what claims you are making. You are welcome to make a new, more specific, unblock request. Yamla (talk) 10:33, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Yes, I was the original author that’s why I was able to paste it just like you said. Yes, I also created the “A Madea Family Funeral” page back in 2018 and that website copied all my words so they should be the ones in trouble. Just go to the editing history page and you will see all my work for yourself and that other website obviously copied other information from IMDB and here. I’m sorry if you misunderstood but I was writing in anger about being falsely accused about MY OWN WORDS that I wrote over a year ago meanwhile the WatchWard website was updated back in March 2020. I just thought there was a mistake on the plot section and didn’t feel typing up a new plot especially not because someone else copied me word-for-word. Understand now? Accept reason:

Accept per below, this situation is not uncommon; Assume good faith anyways, sorry for the hassle. That said, considering previous notices on this page, please be mindful of copyright. Moneytrees🌴Talk🌲Help out at CCI! 22:20, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Watchward page was created in January 2019, before the text was inserted, which why I thought it was copied. You're claiming that the site copied your text in the March 2020 update before it was removed from the wikipedia article in that same month, correct?Moneytrees🌴Talk🌲Help out at CCI! 21:31, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, absolutely. Marcdilworth (talk) 22:04, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Madea on the Run moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Madea on the Run, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Madea on the Run

Hello, Marcdilworth. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Madea on the Run".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 19:58, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 27

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Color Purple (2023 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Deadline. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:23, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
