Nomination of Punjabi Music Media for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Punjabi Music Media is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Punjabi Music Media until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. I have moved this down, because new contributionms should go at the bottom of talk pages, to keep the conversation in order.

I guess your question is about the fact that your page has been nominated for deletion. The main reason for this is that Wikipedia is quite choosy about article subjects: the test is called Wikipedia:Notability and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Your article does not quote any independent references, and people who have looked have not found any.

A second reason is that Wikipedia is not a place for people to write about themselves or their own affairs - see Wikipedia is not about YOU.

So it is probably too soon for an article. If your website, or blog, or whatever it is, becomes established, so that other people write independent comment about it, then perhaps someone will write an article.
