Re:insterio

It meets Criterion A7 of Wikipedia's speedy deletion policy. It was about about a band which failed to give any indication of how it would pass our Notability guideline for musical ensembles, and was completely unsourced, failing Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. Furthermore, the tone of the article was unsuitable for an encyclopedia, especially since the last couple of lines could be seen as unambiguous advertising, which would also qualify it to be deleted under Criterion G11 of the speedy deletion policy. Insterio

The Begining:

INSTERIO is a rock band from Montreal Quebec. The band was formed in the summer of 2004. Mainly put together by 3 friends Vince Mendolia, Fil Pepe and Manny Agostino. The three had been playing together in previous bands but never found the sound they sought after. After spending time going through numerous drummers a friend of the band recommened a drummer by the name of John Watters. John and Manny had known each other from previous bands and friends. The four hit it off and the chemistry was coming together. There was still one missing link, a good vocalist. The band had been through many drummers but nothing compared to the search they had for a singer. In one audition Manny tired and frustrated unplugged the jack from one of the auditioners microphones. The search was grim but the 4 were not giving up. One afternoon they recieved a lucky phone call from another friend in which they also were in a previous band together(Triplite), Jason Balerihno. Manny and Vince were hesitant to have Jason try out for the band because the previous Triplite was not a very amicable split. However everyone put there ego's aside and Jason auditioned. After playing just 2 songs the 5 knew they had a great chemistry and the past was left where it belonged.

Jack Daniels:

The 5 grew to form a strong bond as a band and as friends. The music was flowing and and so was the Jack Daniels women and narcotics they liked delve into from time to time. There jam nights were nights flowing with bottles of whiskey and the air was filled with a familiar and sweet scent but not of incense. Friday night practices were labeled "Jack Night", and more often than not Manny and Fil would head of for more down on the main(st.laurent) when the jam and the jack was done at there practice pad. However no matter what the party was, nothing got in the way of there creativity. They had finally mustered up enough songs for a C.D. The 9 songs chosen were, were chosen because of the bands want to make people move and have a good time but yet show there musician ship which was gained through years of hard work and dedication. They were on there way to putting together "Boom Shakin' Rattle Maker" a title which in plain form dictates exactly what the music and emotions on the songs capture.

Boom Shakin' Rattle Maker:

The C.D itslef took 5 weekends to record. The band decided on doing live takes to once again capture the raw intensity of the music. It was the way they worked, they all relied on each others "feel" and groove. To have them record drum tracks and later bass and then guitars, the traditional way, would not capture what the band was about at the time. 5 weekends and a few late nights at Fil's girlfriends condo, working on the design and the booklet which would feature some band pics and a few short stories for each song. The band was done and ready for their first C.D launch.


Shows Gigs and Hangovers:

The band liked to have people interact at there shows, they would often throw T-Shirts they had made of the band into the crowd and hand out shakers so the crowd can join in on the music.

They were excited to play there new music for friends and family and strangers alike. There first show was at the Cafe Campus. The band was back stage smoking cigarettes and drinking some Jack relaxing waiting for the O.K to jump on and get started. When the ok came and the incense was burning on the sides of the stage and the intro music broke and the band began to play there first tune, they could not help look at each other in total awe. The band recalls, " We knew alot of friends would be coming, but there is never a show in this city where the crowd gathers up to the front of the stage, they usually leave that area open cause they are afraid or to shy to rock out." The cafe campus was a jammed hot and sweaty rock bar that night, heads were bopping and people were enjoying the music. It was one of the bands best and funnest gigs they had played.

Another show was at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Montreal. The band had been picked by Chom 97.7 FM to play at there rock contest. The band had clearly had too much to drink that night and although the show was less the brilliant they advanced to the final 4 spots. Unfortunatley they cam in 2nd place in the final which was held a month later.


The bands final show was in the summer of 2007 at the Spectrum in downtown Montreal. They show was a fund raiser of some sort. The set up time was in early afternoon, Which ment the guys had to go the east end to pic up there equipment and hit the bar to set up and soundcheck along with the other bands playing that day. 2 of the members had been up late partying all night in one of there favourite bars. Both members showed up to the sound check wearing the clothes they had on the night before smelling like alcohol and cigarettes and hang overs no one wished upon there worst enemy. Somehow they managed to get there some what on time, however there were both completley spaced out throught the sound check which actually went smooth enough. By the time the band had enough time to eat and relax some of the memebers went back home to shower and freshen up while others just went for supper. When they met up again back stage in the evening, Jason had bought along a good friend of the band, uncle "JACK", so the 5 began to slip slowly on the refreshing beverage while trying to cruise a very blonde and sexy singer from another band, but we wont get into that story.. The spectrum show was a fantastic show and friends promoters and other musician said that "INSTERIO stole the show, by far the best band up there." Also the band did not know until later on that a scout for a record company had purchased 5 C.D's to bring with him and have listen the other record big shots....

The End of Rock N Roll:

The end came to rather quickly following the show. It was all amicable and the guys are still friends today. For some reaasons which the band will not speak of it all began to falter in early fall. Like the leaves change so do people and thoughts. They had a few shows lined up but a member had family issues to attend to and the shows had to be canceled. Unfortunatly there would never be any make up shows or one timers, the band was done. Someone was once said to them, "you guys live like rockstars minus the money." It was a great run and any friend of the band can tell you that the talent was great and the times were a blast for those around.

Rock N Roll Aint Noise Pollution, Rock N Roll Aint Gonna Die:

Of course there is somewhat of a happy ending! 3 of the original INSTERIO band members, Fil , John and Manny are still playing and writing together. They have a new band formed with Peter De Santis from Dorlesion Lane. The band is now called Super Nova and The Big Red Giants. The music has changed and everyone is a little calmer now but the songs are great and the shows are fun. There new C.D should be released sometime in winter of 2009/2010.
