Interesting labeling

It is quite interesting that you presume that I am a haole and that I didn't grow up in Hawaii. Did you do this with all the other people with this same userbox? I made (and make) neither of these assumptions about you. As I grew up on the North Shore, I find your pidgin, at least in writing, not how I would talk, nor how I recall others talking. But, I noticed that it varies by island. Maui and the Big Island certainly have their own flavas. Speaking of flavas, and all things ono...I noticed no article for Zippy's [1]. Man, do I miss bento boxes and plate lunches. They used to have L&L Barbeque [2] near me, but no more. I see the only one on the east coast is in New York for you. Long drive from Boston. Maybe you can eat there bumbye. Latas, Kukini hablame aqui 01:25, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia!!!

Hello Mahaloplenty! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Editing concerns

  1. I gave you the above welcome because you might want some links to help you do things like create categories. This [3] is not really how you go about doing that. Happy editing, brah! Kukini hablame aqui 01:32, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Not sure I am comfortable being referred to as a toolbag.[4] This is not in good keeping with wikipedia policy on Wikipedia:Civility. And yes, I speak pidgin. Thanks for asking.Kukini hablame aqui 02:40, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User talk page and user page info

Regarding user talk pages, it is best to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this here, under "When pages get too long." Your talk page is intended to serve as a place to discuss your contributions. It ends up being a sort of a history of the work you've done and the conflicts you've been in, or the praise you've received. It's alright to archive comments or warnings, but blanking your talk page is not considered appropriate, as it is not actually yours but instead belongs to us all. Please read WP:USERPAGE and WP:TALK. Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages can often be interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil. For this reason, eventually when you desire to keep the "clutter" down on your user talk page, I suggest that you create archives for these messages. I would be happy to assist you in doing just that if you ask me to. You can see a sample of archives (mine) here. As for your user page, most users seem to use it as a place to describe themselves as people and/or editing entities. Many collect links to pages they are working on and/or have been working on. You user page is more "yours," in a way, than anywhere else on wikipedia, but is not intended to serve as a personal webpage either. Once again, read here to learn more about this. -- Kukini hablame aqui 02:40, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
