Lionel Messi

Hello.

I have been archiving the sources of several pages, but it seems that there is a problem with a certain Lionel Messi. Every time I try, it just does not work. It is the only page that reacts like this. I was wondering if you could help me figure out what is wrong.

Thanks.Barr Theo (talk) 00:30, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.
What do you mean with "Which link"? I did not mentioned any links. I am asking you if you can archive the sources of Lionel Messi's wiki page because I can't.
Thanks. Barr Theo (talk) 17:45, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It worked for me on several other pages as you can see in my edit history (31 October, 7 and 11 November). Messi is the only one that reacts like this. It almost as if someone hecked Messi's page in order to prevent it from ever having its sources archived. I even copy and pasted Messi's page to a draft (as you can also see on my edit history) and tried to archive it from there, but it just does not work. This is too strange.
There has to be a way. Barr Theo (talk) 18:35, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ivan Rakitic

Hello, long time how are you? Looked at Ivan Rakitic and according to his wp cite he now has 993 games in all, i have not looked at sources etc for the games but is he someone that you have in your "thoughts" in relation to 1000 games and so on?

Ze Roberto

Hello Maybe you already know but if you look here https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/ze-roberto/2603/career it seems that they have added the missing games for Portuguesa they have 132 games. So should we take away the note about ogol missing games and just use it as a ref++ now?

Question

Why do you keep putting the Greek championships together with the Piraeus championships? The first are pan-Hellenic titles like the cups, while the second are local. 2A02:586:813D:2A2B:F996:EA37:B958:B626 (talk) 09:43, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Because they are domestic leagues. The section is called domestic leagues, not national domestic leagues. The format is, for instance, like it is here. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 10:01, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I had it figured out. In Greece we are used to separating the Panhellenic from the local. So I disagree with your method. But where I strongly disagree are those with trebles and quadruples, etc. 2A02:586:813D:2A2B:C019:D023:A707:85 (talk) 10:21, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Of course, not only in Greece, but in every country the national league is separated from the local one, but the fact they are under domestic leagues doesn't mean they are equal in importance. Also, this is how the layout is on all articles (of course on some it differs in that they have tables, but the local league still appears after the national league). Regarding that about trebles, quadruples, et c., it can be of course omitted, after all, as it says on the note, which you apparently didn't read, "Only the League and Greek Cup doubles are considered official in the Greek football, the rest are made for informative and statistical purposes only." P.S. As a Greek, I know well how things in Greece work, but WP (Wikipedia) follows specific layouts rules, which we should abide by.
