Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Lmcav. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article J. Christopher Reyes, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 01:37, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi the edits I made are to provide accurate information. The changes you made are not correct. Your description of Reyes Holdings is incorrect. Your list of Mr. Reyes affiliations is incorrect. If the goal is to provide accurate information, you are missing the mark. Lmcav (talk) 02:11, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I do not need Wikipedia to market Reyes Holdings. I need Wikipedia editors to not publish incorrect information Lmcav (talk) 02:14, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply. As an employee of Reyes, you should only suggest changes on the article talkpage, and avoid editing the article directly. We have to edit in accordance with what is published in reliable sources, so please cite them to support any proposed changes. All the changes I have made are supported by reliable sources. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources for more. Edwardx (talk) 11:01, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Revisions requested

When I first made revisions to this account, I was not familiar with Wikipedia customary norms. I would like to focus on getting accurate information posted on this account and would appreciate your help. Could you please fix the following: 1. Update company information - the information listed is very out of date; accurate information is available on Forbes 2. Update Mr. Reyes' affiliations - list past affiliations as "past" and not current; information is available for all affiliations listed

You need to be more specific, cite reliable sources, and make the requests at Talk:J. Christopher Reyes. Edwardx (talk) 17:50, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
