Nomination of BreadTube for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article BreadTube is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BreadTube until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Hi. I noticed the BreadTube article while reading the daily "Articles for deletion" log (which I recommend as a way to get glimpses into all sorts of odd stuff that pops up around Wikipedia). Going forward, it may be helpful to note that Wikipedia almost always prefers secondary sources over primary ones. For example, we'd rather have a newspaper or magazine article, or a peer-reviewed scientific publication, that talks about what a YouTuber's subscriber count means, instead of a direct link to a social-analytics website that just reports a number. Numbers change, and it's not always clear what they signify. (Is 500,000 a little or a lot, comparatively speaking? Does that depend on the genre? And so forth.) As an encyclopedia project, we don't make such judgments ourselves; we just summarize and report what other sources have already said. Cheers, XOR'easter (talk) 20:55, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anarchism

Hi Lib soc bruh,

I saw your work on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself!

And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider expanding a stub, adopting a cleanup category, or participating in one of our current formal discussions.

Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Hope to see you around. czar 00:32, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
