Information on using images

Categories

For every category you create, you should specify parent categories to which it belongs. You can do this by listing the parents near the bottom of the page, each enclosed in double brackets like so:

In the case of a category like this one, parent categories are provided automatically when you include a template.

Namespace

I've moved your usebox page to User:Legohead1/userboxes and tagged your original page for deletion. Thanks. Netalarmtalk 02:39, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to USS Patrick Henry (SSBN-599), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -MBK004 01:42, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, good catch. References have been added. Thanks, Legohead1my_talk 12:38, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Historic Buildings (St. Marys, Georgia)

Hi Legohead1

I have proposed that Category:Historic Buildings (St. Marys, Georgia), which you created, should be deleted. Your input would be welcome in the discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2009 December 23#Category:Historic_Buildings_.28St._Marys.2C_Georgia.29. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:40, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So DASHBot... what you are saying, to get a photo of someone, is a real pain. Legohead1my_talk Legohead1 (talk) 12:39, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your Signature

Hi Legohead1. Just thought you might want to know that templates are generally forbidden in users' signatures. See WP:SIG#NT. If you're going to use a template, I recommend substituting the template like so: , in your preferences. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 21:28, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that information. I hope I did it correctly -> Legohead1my_talk 11:36, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
