Welcome!

Hello, LPaul27, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Advertising has no place here; see also WP:NOTDIRECTORY

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Rosemary Beach, Florida. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Rosemary Beach, Florida, you may be blocked from editing. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:26, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

LPaul27, please rememeber that you're not supposed to engage in edit warring. If someone reverts your additions, you need to figure out what the problem is and resolve it before making further edits to the article. And, of course, you need to remember that you are you contributing to an encyclopaedia article. This is formal writing with a neutral tone. For example, "neat-looking spaces of living" are opinions, not facts, and "neat-looking" is far too informal. Places to eat, places to stay, and places to "explore" might belong in a travel guide, but not a Wikipedia article.
Also remember that everything needs to be supported by citations to reliable sources. jasminealley.com is neither a scholarly source, nor a journalistic one. You can't use it on Wikipedia. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:27, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
