Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:27, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Blindness

Hi, I reverted your recent edit to the blindness article because the page "onchocerciasis" was already linked in a previous section. Also, there's no need to write [[Onchocerciasis|onchocerciasis]]"; just [[onchocerciasis]]" will do. Graham87 03:55, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Manual of Style discourages repeat links. But, as I discovered, it also says that repeated links are permitted when they are helpful for readers in things like image captions. So since you found the extra link helpful, I've put it back. That article's a bit of a mess generally, as much of it was written before Wikipedia's standards for linking and referencing were fully established. Graham87 09:25, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

December 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 2012 phenomenon, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:28, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
