BLP sources tag on non-BLP stubs

Hi, Kingstoken. I noticed that recently you added the {{BLP sources}} template to a number of stub articles about persons who are not living. For example, this edit to the article about Arthur Pierson, who died in 1975. It isn't appropriate to use BLP tags on non-BLP articles. The closest equivalent for a non-living person would probably be {{Refimprove}}. However, it isn't typical to put Refimprove tags on stubs, since the article is already stub-tagged. Did you have a particular goal behind the tagging? Perhaps we can find a different tag or approach to use. --RL0919 (talk) 16:41, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I'm sorry if I used the wrong tag. I feel the stub Arthur Pierson needs improvement because it only has one source.
That's pretty common for stubs. Most of the time stub tag is enough without adding a specific referencing tag. But most important is that BLP tags should only be used if the subject is a alive. --RL0919 (talk) 19:16, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Notability tag

Hi. I noticed you placed a {{notability}} tag on the article of Ayse Romey even though the article already indicates this is a Best Actress winner of the Deutscher Filmpreis which is one of the most prestigious film awards in thew world. I would re-consider placing such tags on articles without doing research as to the notability of the topic as it might look like a case of WP:TAGBOMB. --Oakshade (talk) 01:45, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

I don't consider it is a case of tag bombing. The actress has only three film credits, even though they were award winning. WP:ENT states that an entertainer should make a considerable contribution to the entertainment community to be considered notable. Now, whether her contribution is considerable is subjective.
Winning one of the most prestigious entertainment demonstrates considerable contribution to the entertainment community, not to mention the entertainer won also a Bavarian Film Awards award. If you truly feel that this person fails WP:ENT, then you can send it to AfD to gain wider community input. --Oakshade (talk) 02:54, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
If you disagree with the tag you are free to remove it, and state your case on the articles talk page.
The tag has been removed and stating the case of the inappropriate tag here. --Oakshade (talk) 03:01, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
Why would you state your case here? That will not prevent anyone else from adding tags to the article in the future.
The article has been in existence for going on seven years and nobody except you has placed such an inappropriate tag on it. Just as you placed an inappropriate BLP tag on the Arthur Pierson article, the case needs to be made to the editor who made the mistake, not the article's talk page. --Oakshade (talk) 03:08, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
Look you refuted the claim, I informed you why I added the tag, you disagreed. All of that is fine, however, this line talk on my user page is getting very negative and making me very uncomfortable, please do not continue or I will be reporting you.
Dude, you asked me a question on your user page so I answered you there. You're free to "report" anyone you like but admins get annoyed for petty cases being opened. --Oakshade (talk) 03:21, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
