Please clarify CVUA Practical (from Some Gadget Geek)

Hello there, I'm your student in CVUA (see my page here). The first two sections of covering vandalism policies were straightforward. But the next, which is to put them into practice, that will take some time (about a week or two), depending not only on how many vandals I track down, but also on the minimum conditions you want to see from me before you will mark this practical section as complete, so please be patient.

Based on your post, I think you want me to revert no less than 10 unconstructive edits, of which at least 2 are test edits, and in addition to that, I have to report at least 2 users to AIV. Is that what you expect of me or is the story a little different? Thanks! <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 01:45, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

@Some Gadget Geek: I've got nothing but time :) This is a little more complex because if you can prove yourself I'll recommend you for rollback, so you need to prove yourself. Kharkiv07 (T) 02:13, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
I do hope you're not setting a time limit for me to complete training cause finding and reverting enough vandalism will take quite a bit of time, particularly since I don't check my watchlist that often anymore. (The fact that you'll be (or you're) "away from Wikipedia for an undefined period of time" will give me plenty of opportunities, but please make sure someone else is able to follow up if needed. As before, I sincerely appreciate your patience! <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 02:36, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

A message from CorkChocolate

Hello and good evening, User:Kharkiv07.

I am CorkChocolate (talk), please look for my details in my user-page. Anyway, I had come here in your user-talk page because I am needing your help, in particular your expertise. With you being a member of the Counter-Vandalism Unit, I hope that you could enter me in an apprenticeship, with you teaching me the basics of vandalism repair and restoration.

I hope that you respond to this message at your earliest convenience. Thanking your for your response,CorkChocolate (talk) 12:04, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

Best wishes

I don't remember us editing together, but I watch Keithbob's talk page, and I became aware from that of your loss. I too had a passing of a close family member not too long ago, and I know very well how difficult it can be. I hope that you see this message whenever you are able to come back to Wikipedia, and that you can know that people here wish you the very best. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:33, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

How was that vandalism mate, it was the truth? 103.232.108.35 (talk) 21:56, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

Hello. Wikipedia maintains a neutral point of view policy and specifically forbids original research. If you want to add something like that you should write it neutrally and source it with reliable sources. Thanks and happy editing! Kharkiv07 (T) 21:59, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

A message from 74.73.51.11

Hi, we discussed about Williamsburg, Brooklyn from my recent contributions —the one I made with this edit. It's that Williamsburg, Brooklyn is one the gay villages in New York. Look at The list at the United States section 74.73.51.11 (talk) 03:07, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

Williamsburg has a couple of gay bars, which doesn't automatically make it a gay village. Anyway, it's been removed because it was unsourced. Kharkiv07, you probably did the right thing in reverting. Epic Genius (talk) 14:20, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

Move review for Bongbong Marcos

An editor has asked for a Move review of Bongbong Marcos. Because you closed the move discussion for this page, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the move review. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 20:06, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi there!

I've noticed you haven't been active much regarding my CVAA training. I know, I'm taking my time with the practical part, but can you keep me in the loop and inform me if we're going to advance further into training? I've already dealt with around five cases of vandalism, do I need more (and if so, how many more) in order to qualify for the next part of training (i.e. tools like WP:HUGGLE and WP:STIKI)?

I really appreciate your time and patience so please don't completely discard my efforts!

Cheers, <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 02:13, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
