Quite a bit still needs to be written about the plot. The revelation of Ichi's past as well as his twisted side stories should be quickly recapped at the end of the plot summar.
Volumes
I'd like to have a list of all the volumes, but since its not published in America, this article will need some help from Japanese (or I believe even French) publishings to get infor.

Differences between the movie and manga should be addressed here.
Controversy
Anime Network News as well as other random sites say that Ichi the Killer is too graphic or too controversial to be published in America, and was even banned in areas of Japan. Are there any references that can elaborate on this?
