(Just a quick FYI - I suppose that's hip editor speak - it's incorrect grammar to follow a singular noun ("stuff") by a plural past subjunctive ("were"). A good editor would know simple English like this. Please improve your writing skills if you wish to correspond with me in future - I have high standards.
In regard to the "stuff" I wrote about Mel Gibson that "were" DISGUSTING (your word) - as Forest Gump's mum might say: "Disgusting is as disgusting says!" You obviously have a peculiar bias over some personal issue. One should try to be impartial in one's judgement - it makes one a better editor and a more balanced person.
Generally 'though - and of course this wouldn't concern you! - it brightens my day when bigots crawl out of their damp, dark holes and crevices to breathe some air.
