Hello JonJuan and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Yehud Medinata, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! tgeorgescu (talk) 11:37, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Hasmonean dynasty shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 11:38, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The name of the region was Palestina, not palestine. Palestine is a modern word that did not exist during the Hashmonaite dynasty. JonJuan (talk) 11:39, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You do not make the call. Mainstream WP:RS make the call. tgeorgescu (talk) 11:40, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What is mainstream reliable sources? for years the Palestinian (as a nation) narrative, that did exist before 1964 (again, using this name) is being ruled by falsifying origin story. If you look at books (you know, the one that wasn't ruled by internet) - Palestina was the region name, until the british mandate wanted to distingish LAND and not people - so it used the roman name. From there, to adding a Jewish dynasty, or the Self governed Jewish people to the history of Palastine (mind you, still not an actual state, still governed by Israel, and still using Israel shekels as its currency) - it is just pure lies. None of the history of the jews is related to the "history of palestine", because it didn't exist back then, and even now, when it "exist", it is not a part of its nation. Also, the "Land of Palestine" page is full of lies, but I am not going to start this argument again. English wikipedia is simple not balanced enough and is full with fabrications, which in turn make people believe the Palestinian lies about their history. Basically, it helps Hamas win the hearts of people of the digital age. JonJuan (talk) 11:48, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, maps showing "Palestine" are because they were created by British people who called this region Palestine for 27 years. hardly count for anything. JonJuan (talk) 11:50, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This kind of edit makes Israel supporters look infantile. Congratulations. Good job. Sean.hoyland (talk) 11:53, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hasmonean dynasty, a Jewish dynasty, in a time that Palestine did not exist. If you are filling wiki pages with fake History, just because it serves a political agenda, than you might as well point to other fictional entities. Linking this page Palestine is history appropriation, just like food is being attributed to Palestinians (and not to actual source entities, like Syria, Egypt and other entities that have actual history, foods, etc.). I understand you now work in this campaign of telling the "Palestinian story", but please, use history and not lies when doing so. JonJuan (talk) 13:34, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
