WikiProject Amusement Parks invite

March 2013

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Kings Island, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. External links, for example, should not be inserted into the body of an article. Instead, these should be inline citations using the appropriate reference (<ref></ref>) tags. See the Manual of Style link above for more information. February 2014

Information icon Hello, I'm Johnny Au. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Canada's Wonderland, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. June 2014

Information icon Hello, I'm GoneIn60. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Vekoma. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for December 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Six Flags Great Adventure, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Funtime. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wonderland

Ok, regarding the twitter reference, twitter isn't the most reliable source. Do I use twitter? Yes. However, I've only ever used it when it's a post by the official page of an organization (an example of this would be Canada's Wonderland or Busch Gardens Tampa). In your case, the twitter url used in the reference is from your twitter page. Secondly, and please remember that since this is Wikipedia, references do need to be very closely looked at. For all I know, NormP's twitter account is not actually Norm. There is no proof that it is actually him. Sure the profile has some behind the scenes pictures but those can literally come from anywhere. The profile could very easily belong to another management person or someone who has access to take those pictures. In the case of Wonderland or Busch Gardens, we know their pages are legit because their websites link to the correct twitter pages. If you have proof that Norm is actually behind this account, feel free to revert my edit so long as you include the proof.

PS, between enthusiast and enthusiast (I'm Dom497 on CW Maina and TPR) I know the NormP is probably a legit account. But on Wikipedia, what an enthusiast knows means nothing. There needs to be proof from reliable sources that can be verified by anyone. If you have any questions, just ask! :) --Dom497 (talk) 22:11, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

External links notice...again

Look at the June 2014 notice I left you above. Please refrain from inserting external links into charts or any other place within the body. Instead, consider turning them into references that can be placed in a "Reference" column within a chart or convert them into inline citations. See WP:EL for more information. Thanks. --GoneIn60 (talk) 03:36, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Flying Dutchman at Kings Island- Manufacturer

Hey GoneIn60 (talk),

The manufacturer of the Flying Dutchman which had operated at Kings Island was indeed Intamin, not HUSS as other sources have stated. You will see a Flying Dutchman at Kings Island listed in the advertisement by Intamin, linked below. If you have any other inquires, please do not hesitate to contact me.
