Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Hello,
Reference was made that the Joan Palmer Hughston page is autobiographical. This is not the case. Joan Hughston passed away over a decade ago and her family has hired my firm to create a Wikipedia page about Joan's life and accomplishments.

- Hello Rich. I assume that you are the individual who operates the "Joan Hughston" account and also the unregistered editor who left the comment above. Please remember to log in to Wikipedia, as per the notice under the "March 2021" heading.
- Since your account name is the same as the subject you're writing about, you can understand the confusion. Though there is no restriction on using the name of a deceased person as your username, I would advise that you change your username to something else. It doesn't have to be your real name, but can be if you so desire. It just needs to conform to Wikipedia's username policy.
- It appears your submission is partially a copyright violation. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy on copyright, and do not post copyrighted text or images unless the copyright holder has provided proof of their identity and agreed to donate the material to Wikipedia. This applies even if you are the copyright holder, or have the copyright holder's permission.
- Please also be aware that a person - living or dead - is not entitled to a Wikipedia article just for having existed. Topics on Wikipedia must be notable - that is, having gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time. We use evidence from reliable sources that are independent of the topic to gauge this interest. In the case of a person, Wikipedia's notability criteria for people applies, and is further refined for creative professionals like artists.
- We do not allow articles that are meant as memorials for deceased relatives; nor promotional pieces meant to glorify a person's existence. Articles are plainly factual summaries of previously published material, gleaned from reliable sources, written from the perspective of a dispassionate third party.
- Reliable sources are sources with an established reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight. This heavily favours mainstream academic press and mainstream news sources, as well as reputable publishers of newspapers, books and magazines. Primary sources such as the subject's own website can be used for basic facts and figures, but cannot alone establish notability. Self-published sources lack the necessary editorial oversight and are disallowed in most cases; this includes press releases, social media, blogs and message forums. Original research (e.g. unpublished personal knowledge and experience, or private correspondence) is unverifiable and also disallowed. Other sources of dubious or unknown provenance will also be rejected. WP:RSP has a list of sources that are commonly discussed and the evaluation of their reliability.
- If you are able to provide objective evidence that this person was sufficiently notable for inclusion, then please provide these sources in your draft. If such an article is accepted, please be aware - and make your client(s) aware - that anyone can edit it. Wikipedia is a collaborative project; anyone can edit any article at any time, and the content you submit may change over time, substantially. No editor has any right of ownership or control over an article's content. Editors must assume good faith of fellow editors unless there is clear evidence of harmful motives behind any changes. While obvious vandalism can be undone with little argument, significant disagreements must be calmly discussed on the article's talk page with the aim of reaching consensus. Failing that, other dispute resolution channels are available.
- One last thing. Wikipedia has a strict and mandatory policy on disclosure of paid editing. Before you make any edits about a topic where you were paid for your writing, you must openly disclose what topic it is, and who is paying you to do it.
