The statement Though thousands of Irish convicts and military prisoners arrived in the 1650s, the majority of Irish people in Barbados both before and after this entered into indenture contracts voluntarily is a definitive statement that needs to be corroborated. The discussion of the practice of indentured servitude in Virginia is not germane, seems an attempt to deflect and imply a credibility to an unsubstantiated assertion.
