Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Anna Lincoln 08:33, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To answer that question you have yet to answer

... the reason your edits keep getting reverted is because the information you are trying to add is not cited to reliable sources. sites like youtube and blogs and forums do not constitute reliable sources as far as Wikipedia is concerned. Although it gives me no pleasure to say this, if you do not refrain from adding such material to the page StarCraft II you are going to end up blocked from editing, either by me or by someone else with admin privileges. Please, please take time to read through the links I provided you in the welcome message before you edit any further. It will make both our lives a lot easier. I'll concede that the source you provided looks legitimate, but before adding it to the article I would suggest posting a message on the talk page of the StarCraft II article asking for the opinions of the editors who have been maintaining the article. I watch the page as a courtesy to those who edit the page since I can change its protection levels, but I am unfamiliar with the policy of the sources being used on the page beyond those listed at WP:RS. Those who contribute to the page on a more frequent basis will be in a better position to evaluate the site and determine whether it can go in the article or not.
Also, if you are interest in video games, you may wish to consider joining WikiProject Video games; editors their share a common interest in improving video game related articles here on Wikipedia. TomStar81 (Talk) 09:09, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thank-you very much for your reply. i am new to editing wikipedia, and i had no idea there was a talk page for the starcraft 2 article. frankly, i assumed you were a blizzard employee at first as they have been doing a lot of revisionist history lately. i will dig up a couple more sources before i post on the sc2 page again, and i will rework the language of the edit to be more clear about it.

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Criticism of absence of lan play, region locking, and absence of chat rooms prefix:Talk:StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty/, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Jeremy: Re the above page -- I'm not absolutely sure what you were getting at, but the title of this page doesn't fall within our page-naming guidelines and will be deleted soon. I thought it was likely that you would want to try to find an appropriate home for this material and so I have placed it into a "sandbox" page for you at User:Jeremysaint/Sandbox (just click on this link to go to the page). I gather you will be trying to add this material selectively to an article concerned with StarCraft once you locate appropriate sources; best of luck with that. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 20:26, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I had a feeling that you would make another error regarding the talk page post, so I thought I would check back this afternoon to see if everything was ok; apparently its a good thing I did. I have posted you comments at Talk:StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, which is the article's talk page. You may add or modify your comments there, but since they are now at the article's talk page the article's contributors will be in a position to answer your question(s).
