Angelina Jolie

I think it's a great idea to add information about her work on the Malala Fund. However, most of your sources are from popular news articles, and I think you might need to add a few academic articles for this assignment. Maybe there is a report published by the Malala Fund or on Angelina Jolie's humanitarian work that you would add. This is a great outline of your planned contributions and I can't wait to see how far you take it. M.nie (talk) 03:00, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Great point! I totally forgot to include more academic sources. I'll be sure to do that. Jeffmortensen (talk) 02:36, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Malala Fund

This is a great idea for an article - I'm actually surprised that there wasn't already an article on it. Again, I think you should try to inclue more academic sources. I'm sure there are annual impact reports on the Malala Fund or academic critiques of the Fund's work.

Again, I'll be sure to look into more academic articles. Thanks! Jeffmortensen (talk) 02:38, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I also think it would be good to add a "Controversies" or "Criticisms" section to keep this article balanced and neutral. I imagine many Pakistani activists or journalists would have negative things to say about the Malala Fund. M.nie (talk) 03:00, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, I actually thought about including this and have already begun to research criticism of the Malala fund. Many Pakistani citizens feel the organization is meaningless and causes more harm to the country's public image than anything. Jeffmortensen (talk) 02:38, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Right to Education Pakistan

I like your outline for the article. I think there is a lot of material to create a good article, and I like that you included more academic sources, including the critical review on RTE. I think you could take it a step further and follow the format of other nonprofits' articles (see Reading Partners: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reading_Partners) and include a sidebar on the year founded, headquarters location, revenue, employees, etc. if available. Great start to the article though!M.nie (talk) 03:00, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to include this information for both this organization and for the Malala fund article as well :) Jeffmortensen (talk) 02:39, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
