This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Premio Zobel, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://en.wikipilipinas.org/index.php?title=Premio_zobel. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. File source problem with File:Jose Ma. Basa.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Jose Ma. Basa.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NickContact/Contribs 00:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg

File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 07:19, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Elena Anaya Aleera.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. ---- Luk talk 07:16, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Important note

When you upload a screencap from a recent Hollywood movie, do not label it as "a work of the US government and thus in the public domain".

Furthermore, as explained on WP:REFU, a screencap is not typically an acceptable image for illustrating what an actor looks like. That image has been deleted. DS (talk) 14:30, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem: Antonio Ma. Regidor

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Antonio Ma. Regidor, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://en.wikipilipinas.org/index.php?title=Antonio_Ma._Regidor&oldid=222955, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under allowance license, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Antonio Ma. Regidor saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. No Copyright Problem

There appears to be no copyright violation with Antonio Ma. Regidor. The text was obtained from the wikipilipinas website which is a Wikipedia mirror and releases its articles under the GNU Free Documentation License. I have removed the tag from the article. CactusWriter | needles 03:44, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I've rechecked and found that this article was not created as a Wikipedia mirror. Because it is copied from a GFDL only website, it is incompatible with Wikipedia licensing. I have deleted it. CactusWriter | needles 07:53, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rizal's retraction

Hi, :) I brought back the refs names so as to avoid duplication of refs. Also, I brought back H. Otley Beyer's name since he is mentioned by Cavanna in his book. There is also something here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RP-Rizal/message/14692 but I did not link to it since it is just a yahoo message group, but at least it confirms what Cavanna stated in his book which is what can be cited in Wikipedia. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://en.wikipilipinas.org/index.php?title=Domingo_Abella&oldid=145302. Domingo Abella has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Crispulo Aguinaldo

Hi Jakosalem, I hope you are ok. I wrote the wiki Latin version of Plaridel and am a fellow Pinoy who worked abroad. I will be writing the Japanese version of Plaridel assuming I still have access to writing in Japanese in this computer. I worked as a newpaper reporter in Japan. Bro, please DO NOT copy and paste. This is very taboo abroad and it is very wrong even if it is rampant in the Philippines. You can rewrite however so please do so. If you persist in copying and pasting, you will be forcing administrators to take measures. Please work with us and not against us. I see your discussion page and see that you've been asked many times. Nakakahiya naman sa atin mga pinoy sa wiki, ang violations.--Jondel (talk) 07:52, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation

Hi, Jakosalem. I removed my previous copyright violation message. After further investigation, it appears the Felipe Padilla De Leon, Sr. article is probably a copypaste of this copyleft article at [1]] at Wikipilipinas which was begun in July 2007 rather than this article which appeared no earlier than September 2007. It is necessary that you add proper referencing to the articles you create -- which includes adding a message in your edit summaries if you are copypasting text. Copypasting text -- even from a copyleft or free source -- must be attributed or it is a violation of Wikipedia policy. Additionally, it would be extremely helpful if you respond to any copyright violation tags which are left on the articles rather than just remove them. It takes a great deal of time for us to investigate each incident reported at WP:CV and your cooperation would be appreciated. If you have any questions, please ask me. CactusWriter | needles 10:01, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. Because this article was copied from a GFDL only website, it is not compatible with Wikipedia licensing. The article has been deleted. CactusWriter | needles 07:56, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Crispulo Aguinaldo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. WikiPilipinas

Hi, Jakosalem. Please note that the WikiPilipinas website has GFDL only licensing. Wikipedia requires either CC-BY-SA or dual GFDL & CC-BY-SA licenses. This change was enacted in June of this year. Text from the Wikipilinas website cannot be copy-pasted into Wikipedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks. CactusWriter | needles 08:09, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have added this text on 5 July 2009. Likewise, I note that you have pasted text from other sources, including some material in this series of edits from April 20 to April 30 2009 from this 1997 book. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:35, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sock puppetry

I have blocked your alternate accounts, User:LO Crame and User:LuckyYou. Under most circumstances - including where you are editing the same pages - it is against policy to operate multiple accounts. I have not blocked this account for sock puppetry at this point, however, as it may be that this was an error rather than a deliberate violation. I am, however, concerned to note that you violated copyright under at least one of those accounts as well, pasting material from books and other websites. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:23, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright block

You have been blocked from editing indefinitely in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeatedly violating copyright policy by copying text into Wikipedia from other source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy and given a block caution but have persisted in pasting content under several accounts, including from such plainly copyrighted sources as [2], material you pasted into Mariano Ponce on 3 October 2009. While you may have plausibly misunderstood the licensing of wikipilipinas, there is no plausible justification for copying content from books and plainly reserved websites.

If you believe this block is unjustified or if you believe that you can contribute constructively without further copyright infringement, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to quote non-free text. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
