Request reason:

I was trying to create a page for Vickers Venture Partners, I cited sources from Bloomberg, Straits Times, DealStreetAsia, etc., The language was deemed promotional and I tried to rectify it. Now I have been blocked and called a sockpuppet of a person who was working on the same page. How is this helpful? I can't create a page for well known financial institution in Asia?

Decline reason:

It does strongly look like a violation of WP:SOCK and you haven't actually addressed this in your unblock request, so I'm declining. Yamla (talk) 10:53, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't. That was Materialscientist. --Yamla (talk) 11:16, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't have another account. This is my only account and in my real name, please note when it was created. I haven't and don't use puppets. My interest was to create this page and in the process teach another person (Ntjm1) who is a real person named Nicole who wanted to learn and create a page for the first time. We work in the same office and our IP is the same. Jacob23 (talk) 10:22, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your editing has been entirely promotional, over a period of many years, which is unacceptable, and in itself sufficient to justify the block. In addition, you tell us that you work in the same office as another editor who has also been responsible for purely promotional purposes, on a subject on which you too have edited promotionally, suggesting that your office may be involved in marketing. I see no reason to think that unblocking you will be followed by your switching to acceptable editing; certainly nothing that you have said suggests that you are likely to do so. There's been no response for over 10 days still.... —JJBers 16:40, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Any editors got time to review this. I'm not a sock puppet. It's painful to be labelled one and blocked. Jacob23 (talk) 23:45, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
