Hi JonnyNoFingers. First, rank has no meaning here; I'm an editor just like you, so don't call me sir :) Second, Wikipedia has several key policies on what is notable. If you want to contribute, I'd highly suggest reading WP:FIRST, which is a guide on how to create your first article. Chances are that the site you tried creating an article for won't meet the policies and guidelines, but you could always contribute in other areas. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. ping. Because it is a promotional piece that you put into mainspace. Once an article is submitted, it is open to scrutiny. Any articles that meet the criteria for speedy deletion can be tagged at any time. Conversing with the creator prior to tagging is not required. If you want more time to work on an article, you could use Articles for Creation or work on it in your sandbox. I'm sorry if you're upset, but I don't feel I acted too hastily on this. So, if you look at direct quotes from the article: But Deezy turned out to a wonderful young man with a lot of talent and it didn't take long until his mother realized.; Deezy remains a popular trending subject on both Twitter and Instagram.; Deezy is not only a well respected figure in the hip-hop world. He's actually an actor as well & appeared in some of the best TV series & films.. The majority of the text at the bottom is a bunch of non-notable albums and singles. Hello. So, I looked at the article, and it makes no credible claims of significance, therefore it qualifies for deletion under WP:CSD#A7. Also, it is a bit promotional, since it exists only to push the artist and make him popular. Honestly, Yz is not ready for an article yet. Maybe one day, but not now. Beauvy

Hello, Ishdarian. Back in November of 2013, you offered to mentor Beauvy. I don't know whether or not you're still interested in that user. You may be aware that she was recently blocked for two weeks for edit warring at The Dialectic of Sex (I was blocked for a shorter period). If you are still concerned with the user, this might be an appropriate moment to offer some kind of comment on her talk page and/or the Dialectic article talk page. For what it's worth, I intend to rewrite parts of the Dialectic article, partly in response to Beauvy's complaints about it. I've said some very inflexible-sounding things on its talk page, but at this point I'm willing to try some kind of compromise. There's at least a chance this will help end what otherwise looks to be very much an ongoing dispute. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 01:22, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi FKC. You guys had actually dropped off my radar at the end of December and I was unaware that Beauvy had decided to return. It's unfortunate that either one of you had to be blocked. I had offered mentorship, but she didn't seem responsive to my first invitation. I'll drop her a line again and see if she'll accept. Also, I read the conversation that you and JamesBWatson had and I am okay with you coming to me as a third party, however, I will not make reverts simply on a request. JBW is correct that this would be a tag teaming situation. This content dispute can be settled simply by having you and Beauvy rationally discuss your changes on the talk page. If you would like me to come in and assist as a mediator, then I would be more than willing, but I don't want to get drawn into the dispute itself. Ishdarian 03:02, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

As I said to JamesBWatson, I'm not going to start saying things like, "Please revert this or that edit for me." It would be beneath my dignity, it's not how Wikipedia is supposed to operate, and it wouldn't resolve anything anyway. (I think he really over-reacted to a comment I made that wasn't intended so seriously). Trying to discuss anything with Beauvy has been an aggravating experience, and I'm not so optimistic that further discussion, by itself, will be of any help - but making some modifications to article content might, and as I said, I'm more willing to do that now. Hi Ishdarian, I had added the link to SafeSquid Proxy server, because I think it is a very important reference quite like Wingate. Unfortunately SafeSquid does not have a page on Wikipedia, so I had to add an external link. SafeSquid has a very important significance due to multiple reasons, relevant to the overall article. Let me share some of them here: It is an HTTP/1.1 Proxy server completely adhering to RFC2616 standards. It is popularly used as a Web Filtering Proxy, thus is a fine example for the reader to relate to the point made about web filtering in the article. It is a fine example of Multi-Threaded software. It's specially built to render identical experience on *Nix and Windows Platforms, proving one of the oldest points made by C/C++ software developers that these two apparently diverse platforms can have similar software, and that too running as native applications.
