Talk:Intelligent design

Thanks for your contribution at Talk:Intelligent design. As I've commented there, I agree that the struggle will continue: our job is to provide a verifiable description informing readers about the struggle in a neutral way. It all helps, ta from dave souza, talk 11:20, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

So some of the books that were removed have a better description of creation? That is not in disagreement with evolution? Do tell. Come on, don't tease us!!--Filll 17:15, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

You're too quick for your own good O_o. Well, not whole books. Just small parts. The bible is a compilation of neatly edited scrolls - and when the Romans were faced with references to a super-civilisation existing before Man, they were obviously confused. And they edited it out.

I'm referring to the Pre Adamite Earth theory. Several verses remain which give credibility to it's existence, but my ever-handy Dake Abridged seems to have gone missing.

I'll give you the overview:

X time ago, the Universe was created by God. How He did it is unknown to us - I don't think we have the capability of grasping how He did it.

Time went on, life happened. One planet - Earth - was designated a capital city for Lucifer's empire. At this point, Lucifer was still the good Bearer of Light Angel. He was also Head Choir director to God.

One day he got arrogant, marched to God's throne and demanded that He step down. Naturally, this had no chance of working.

God destroyed Earth with a cursed flood, he demoted (or "fired" - your choice) Lucifer, and cast all Lucifer's servants down to Hell (as demons).

I personally refer to the cursed flood as the "Genesis Flood". You know how Genesis 1:1 describes how the Spirit hovered over the "face of the deep"? That was water. The speshul thing about the cursed flood is that it totally anhilated every living thing on the planet.

God cast Lucifer (Now called Satan) down to this destroyed Earth, as it was and is still Satan's domain.

At an indeterminate point, long after the Genesis flood, God decided to give Earth a second try. Genesis describes how God recreated Earth - patched it up for us Mans, who were created about 6'000 years ago.

And that's why Satan was in the Garden of Eden as a demoted snake,

And that's why it's possible that the Earth IS 4.6Bn years old, while Man is only 6k years old.

This argument lines up geological evidence, scriptural evidence, logical deduction and common sense, and therefore I consider it the correct answer.

No, not really. I've only been here like 4 days or something. Most of that time was spent on the Leviathan article. I think I brought my biggest detractor to silence, so I decided to have a look at Intelligent Design :) - Ins-dragonclaw 18:09, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
