Bhutan

Hi. Just redirect/merge info. Its just a different name that's all. Over the next week I'll be starting the Gewogs of Bhutan. You are welcome to help. I've noticed that Russian wikipedia has a surprisingly amount of articles related to Bhutan. They are your articles I gather? I also noticed that the Russian writer also has the same book by Pommaret as I have! I gather you are a Bhutanologist like myself? Dr. Blofeld 10:59, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I am interested in Bhutan. Are you professionally involved in Bhutan? I created a project Bhutan in the Russian Wikipedia. Many articles about Bhutan was created in this project in the summer of 2010. Now I created a portal of Bhutan in the Rassian Wikipedia and debugged Portal:Bhutan in the English Wikipedia. Now please fill the red links on these pages: Portal:Bhutan/Selected picture, Portal:Bhutan/Selected article, Portal:Bhutan/Selected biography. --Impro (talk) 12:27, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wish I was professionally involved with Bhutan and Tibet. Nope just an interest of mine. Have you thought about contributing to english wikipedia or is it just Russian wiki? Dr. Blofeld 10:33, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I thought about it. I am a little help to English wikiproject Bhutan. However, my English is bad, so I do not write articles so far and I am a vikignom of wikiproject Bhutan in English Wikipedia :-))))))))) --Impro (talk) 11:14, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Tibetan naming conventions

A while back, I posted a new proposal for Tibetan naming conventions, i.e. conventions that can be used to determine the most appropriate titles for articles related to the Tibetan region. This came out of discussions about article titles on Talk:Qamdo and Talk:Lhoka (Shannan) Prefecture. I hope that discussions on the proposal's talk page will lead to consensus in favour of making these conventions official, but so far only a few editors have left comments. If you would be interested in taking a look at the proposed naming conventions and giving your opinion, I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks—Nat Krause(Talk!·What have I done?) 20:51, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Спасибо!

Thanks for catching my errors on the pages linked to List of protected areas of Bhutan. The map display was correct, but my hasty editing produced bad geography. Зделал маху я. (Tee hee). The list page contained accurate information. The errors have been fixed now. Thank you again! JFHJr () 20:37, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:52, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Bhutan

Hi Impro, I see you are still active on WikiProject Bhutan. Thats very good news! Doctor 17 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:30, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

you may be able to help. This page used to have a list of names of Bhutanese editors but is now overpowered with all these types of banners. Fabulous as they are, it is disappointing not to have the names here as was previously. They are starting to develop a community, so it would work better (I suggest humbly) if the names of the Bhutanese users were prioritised, ie put at the top. And also, is it possible by some bot or category magic that the users who put a Bhutanese banner on their user page, automatically appear here?
Hi! Glad to see you! You need to write to the user User:Buaidh with this problem. He is a creater of these banners. --Impro (talk) 08:16, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

many thanks Doctor 17 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:42, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting small help

I was looking for some small help. I created an article en:Kithaab(French fr:Kithaab/Spanish es:Kithaab/de:Kithaab) -a play about women rights issues- which has been copy edited and is ready for translation in various languages.

Russian is one of top 8 most spoken global languages. Out of first 8 languages the article is already got translated in 6 of them, but Russian language Wikipedia (and Chinese too) are remaining to get article Kithaab translated in. Translating in Russian will also help translating in other global languages including central Asian ones.

Looking for your possible help in translating the article en:Kithaab to your Russian language Wikipedia. If you are unable to spare time yourself then may be you like to refer the same to some other translator.

Thanks and Warm Regards
