Gordon Landsborough

Generally pages that you are working on are created as subpages (i.e User:Idmc/Gordon Landsborough), but it is still fine. There is no need to have =Gordon Landsborough=, as that will be the name of the page. When it is ready, just click move at the top of the page, and on the next screen set To new title: as Gordon Landsborough. As far as the image goes, I don't know much about the rules, but I'm quite sure the easiest thing to do would be to finish the article and add the picture after you move the page. It wasn't completely necessary but I've moved the draft to User:Idmc/Gordon Landsborough. I hope you don't mind and I hope it didn't cause panic. As User:MrKIA11 says, just click move at the top of the draft and move the page to Gordon Landsborough. You'll need to delete the {{UserWorkInProgress}} template which I put at the top for clarification. The article looks great by the way. I didn't read all of it but it looks good. As for the main title, you don't have to type one on the article. It automatically takes the name of the page. (Eg: If it's in your user subpage as Scottydude has said above, the title would be "User:Idmc/Gordon Landsborough"). When you move it to the mainspace, that is to the actual article you can give the name you want. Alternatively, you can perform a search and click on the redlink that appears and copy-paste the article you've made into that page. Chamal Talk 04:15, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well you can't move the page because you are not yet autoconfirme (the same reason you can't upload an image yet). I will go ahead and move the page for you. Technically, because you are the only contributor to this page you can technically just copy the text and paste it in the new page because all you really need in the page history is the addition of your work. (Its still nice to have the entire history so I prefer the "move"). As far as the unsourced material... The short answer: No it cannot be in the article. The long answer can be found here.
