Thanks. I have reversed the deletion and reverted to your lst version. Be careful though-- you are straying back into promotional content.Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:55, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sherman Smith (singer) continued concerns

The greatest concern is the subject does not meet the relevant guidelines WP:Music and the general notability guideline. If you have verifiable information from reliable third party sources, with a reputation for fact checking and independent/unconnected with the subject it needs to be in the article. Such coverage needs to be substantial. The coverage as it sits now is not.

The second is the promotional nature of some of the content. Content from the subject's webpage is designed to evoke a response from the reader. It is inherently promotional. The more of it there is, the greater the case for deleting the article as unambiguous advertising. It actually weakens the argument for keeping the article. If you write advertising or webpages for a living, it may be very hard to adopt the neutral, drab, facts-only style of encyclopedia writing. Hope this helps.Dlohcierekim (talk) 14:35, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
