Education steering committee

Wondering if you would consider applying for the Wikipedia:Education_Working_Group. I think you would be a huge plus and would be happy to give my personal recommendation of you to those involved. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:54, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks so much for thinking of me, James. I might be able to involve myself in some more minor capacity after I get back from vacation (11 - 27 May). Right now I'm just thinking of getting ready for my trip. --Hordaland (talk) 07:52, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
Happy travels. By the way on your return do you think I could interest you in this project Wikipedia:MED/Translation_project? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:31, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
That does sound interesting. I know both of the Norwegian languages: Nynorsk and Bokmål. I've tried translating from English to Simple and am not interested in joining in there. --Hordaland (talk) 19:42, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
Content Rules is taking care of the simplification. I could use your help on three main aspects 1) writing high quality articles in English 2) verifying the simplifications to make sure they are still good 3) verifying articles once they have been translated into languages you know (the main translations will be done by TwR) and I want people with a strong medical background to concentrate on improving content. We so far have 13 article improved in English, simplified 9 articles and translated one into 6 other languages per here Wikipedia:WikiProject_Medicine/Translation_task_force/RTT Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:50, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
