Information icon Hello, I'm Field Marshal Aryan. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Norman Brennan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Field Marshal Aryan (talk) 22:27, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My source is that I knew him personally and worked with him for many years Hopalong1234 (talk) 23:35, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Norman Brennan, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I also don't see the relevance of stating that he never served in the military Field Marshal Aryan (talk) 07:42, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am a reliable source I witnessed it first hand, you can't be a more reliable source than that Hopalong1234 (talk) 08:24, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Norman Brennan, you may be blocked from editing. Balon Greyjoy (talk) 08:34, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's not disruptive and it's not vandalising. It's FACTS. I personally know Norman Brennan and worked with him for around 15 years. What I inserted were FACTS!! Hopalong1234 (talk) 09:19, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You removed Facts and references from that Page. Why? Who is funding you? It's a FACT that Norman Brennan has NO Experience or Qualifications to talk about Gun or Knife Crime. Why did you remove that? I am a Reliable Source Hopalong1234 (talk) 09:47, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Norman Brennan

Facts and References have been removed from Norman Brennan Wiki Page Hopalong1234 (talk) 09:45, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Norman Brennan. Materialscientist (talk) 15:11, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? I provided a Reference which shows he was described as a Gun and Knife crime Expert. I know him. I worked with him for about 15 yrs I am qualified to state such things. He is not a gun or knife expert, he has no qualifications! Hopalong1234 (talk) 16:46, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's a bit ironic isn't it.. You state 'Facts and References have been removed..'.. Dear oh Dear Hopalong1234 (talk) 17:38, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to talk with an editor, then use the link in their signature which will take you to their talk page. The fact is that what you are doing is original research and we here have a policy against it. If there are no reliable sources (and you can't say that the fact you worked under him makes you a reliable source) backing your claim claims then they will be removed. These policies are more strictly enforced on articles that are Biographies of living persons. Yeah, if you find stuff in the article that says he is an expert in firearms but going through the citations you don't find any proof, feel free to remove that too. Regards Field Marshal Aryan (talk) 19:08, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Understood but just for the record, I didn't work 'under him', I was his Supervisor. He worked for me. Hopalong1234 (talk) 12:06, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
