Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Hajvery University, Lahore. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. I guessed from your username and the fact you put this university at the top of every list you could find that you are connected to Hajvery University in some way. Wikipedia does not exist to promote your institution, so keep those photos for your college website. Green Giant (talk) 08:07, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Hajvery University, you may be blocked from editing. Green Giant (talk) 10:37, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hajvery University

  • In response to your question, if the version of Hajvery University that you want to restore is this one, then I feel obliged to warn you that that version is unacceptable as a Wikipedia article for the following main reasons:
  1. There are extensive sections directly copied from the HU website and that violates the WP:COPYVIO policy. Additionally copy-and-paste makes the article look like an advertisement, in direct contradiction to WP:ARTSPAM.
  2. There are virtually no third-party references to back up claims like "It is ranked by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan as a Category "W" university, which is the top ranking among Pakistani Universities Ranking. HU was the first university in the private sector to be awarded this prestigious ranking." Yet the Higher Education Commission makes no mention of Category "W" being a prestigious status in their list of private universities, instead stating clearly that Category "W" are "Universities/Institutions meeting all minimum criteria requirements".
  3. You have uploaded and added a number of photos which you claim as your own work, but they appear to be or are very similar to photos on the HU website, which would be a violation of Image use policy. I have listed below examples of which photos appear suspicious:
