Conspiracy theory

"Why don't you seek the opinion of an editor who is gifted enough to explain the page's weaknesses to you?" You know how condescending that sounds? Do you honestly think I don't know anything about the subject? What I've read suggests Kwantung Army SOs essentially faked attacks to maneuver the Chinese into striking, giving Japan an excuse for war. Were the officers involved punished? Not AFAIK, probably because Hirohito (tacitly) approved, & partly because Army high command & Diet didn't have the nerve (not least for fear of assassination, a fairly legitimate fear IMO, given the climate). Is this just the opinion of a writer? I'll take well-researched opinion, like that from (frex) Kaigun, over yours every time. TREKphiler ^{any time you're ready, Uhura} 17:49, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
