Hello, Galleries of justice, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Welcome - er... again...

Sorry you had to welcome yourself to Wikipedia ↑. Let me be the first to extend you a proper welcome! You've got all the usual useful links above, but given your profession you may also want to investigate WP:GLAM, which is a project designed for librarians and curators. You're one of the biggest assets we have on Wikipedia, and your assistance is most appreciated.

One other thing - your username (Galleries of justice) might be construed as a violation of the username policy, which tends to frown on usernames that represent companies or institutions. The main reason for this, though is due to potential conflict of interest - as long as you're wary of editing the Galleries of Justice page, you should be fine.

If you need any help, feel free to ask me on my talkpage; there's also a helpdesk for questions about editing. Best of luck, and welcome once again. Yunshui  09:25, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Really impressed that you welcomed Galleries of Justice. They are currently being trained to use Wikipedia and about conflict of interest. They will be correcting their page and not peacocking it as they are aware of the COI issues. Hope thats OK Galleries of justice (talk) 09:36, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not to dampen your (their?) ardour, but from your response it looks as though the account User:Galleries of justice is being used by more than one person. That's a major no-no here; see WP:NOSHARE. Due to the need for attribution, a user account may only represent one person.
The most appropriate way to edit the Galleries of Justice page, if that's your primary intent, would be to pose your proposed edits on the article talkpage. That way, other editors can decide whether or not to add it, and you can avoid conflict of interest problems. Most importantly, though, is the note above - if you have multiple users, you must register multiple accounts. Yunshui  09:43, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but I think that you are looking at a policy that doesnt cover training. Please think about the impression you are giving to a new editor.... leave for a few hours? Wikipedia is not at risk Galleries of justice (talk) 10:15, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Training or not, unless you're identifying as an account of the WMF, you are not permitted to have multiple users on the same account. If you are trying to teach your staff to use Wikipedia, fantastic! We're keep to have you do that. However, they can't do it from your account. Getting a user account set up is a simple process, and only takes a few seconds; alternatively it's perfectly possible to do most basic editing tasks without even logging in. Please be aware that violating this policy will almost always lead to your account being blocked.
I don't want to come across as being heavy-handed; as I said, we're keen to have professional archivists and curators editing here. However, it's still necessary for them to abide by the site's policies. Yunshui  14:17, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
They were not being trained from someone elses account but their account. Having a "teacher" type on a "pupil"s page is normal pedagogy. You are allowed some discretion I think Victuallers (talk) 19:54, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

QRpedia

Please can you tell us more about how you're using QRpedia? You can do so on the talk page for WP:QRpedia. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:26, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Andy, They have just put up two codes but they are keen to do more Victuallers (talk) 19:48, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Name of this account

I'm proposing that we change the name of this account to "Galleries of justice FR". Is that OK with you? With your initials in then everyone will realise its just one person. OK? Victuallers (talk) 19:46, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I made this to be better as "Galleries of Justice Curator". Agreed? Victuallers (talk) 14:49, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest checking for compliance with Wikipedia:Username policy. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:21, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
