UAA

Please read the username policy before submitting to UAA.

In particular, because Wikipedia is a multinational, multilingual project (usernames can be shared among all languages of Wikipedia), do not list people to be blocked just because their username is not in English. rspεεr (talk) 02:03, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

You've misunderstood what WP:UAA is for, then. It's for requesting blocks due to blatant username violations, like the instructions on the page say. Discussion does not require admin powers, so you don't need to involve UAA. But I don't see much of a need for discussion. rspεεr (talk) 02:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Also of note, the policy does state that users who use non-Latin characters in their username should translate their username in signature format so English users have a way of addressing the user. Administrators aren't there to be the "voice of authority", they're there to carry out certain restricted actions. Anyway, if you want to ask this user to follow the recommendation that they have a Latin-alphabet signature, go ahead. But please don't say it in a way that implies they've done something wrong just by being named in Chinese. rspεεr (talk) 02:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Man, he's such a persistent little blood clot. I've seen your report recently regarding User:GMAproudtobeKapuso, which is obviously a sock of none other than GMA Fan. PS3 slim userbox

As an image not likely to be useful in any articles, that logo shouldn't be uploaded to Wikipedia proper. It should instead be uploaded to Commons and linked through the existing template.

I figure, hey, {{db-author}} is usually faster than WP:FFD, and if you change the template before removing the version on WP, your userpage's appearance won't change. --King Öomie 17:12, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

It's not a major problem. It's just that Wikipedia is rather stringent with its bandwidth. WP:NOTWEBHOST is a large part of what allows the site to qualify for many of the grants that keep it going. --King Öomie 06:07, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
