It's not that I'm trying to control everything (and remember WP:CIVIL and WP:AGF). I am not suggesting that you're spamming Wikipedia, but it's a fan site, a non-English site at that, and doesn't meet WP:EL's standards for reliability. Thanks. Ytny (talk) 13:51, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what you mean by "other external links are 10 times worse", but I urge you to read over WP:EL again. Fan sites are not considered reliable sources of information, and the external link section is mainly for official sites or links that provide basic information such as stats, which the other external links do a good job of already. And while many articles do contain foreign language links, they're used when there are no adequate English language links, which isn't the case here - Ruud is well covered by the English-language media.
