That would be a different matter if Eric Carmen's DUI arrest was only reported in local media. But that arrest dashcam video was shown nationally on the truTV series World's Dumbest... which does not mention details about the arrest which the local news report gave. Also, both have linked citations to back up the info including the video segment of the World's Dumbest... segment which was titled "Hungry Eyes and Beer Goggles." Did you bother to read the article's talk page? The quote you gave ″Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous or harmful. (November 2012)″ does not apply to the edit as linked citations from reliable sources including the video of the arrest back up the edit. Steelbeard1 (talk) 15:21, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You need to post your comments in the Talk:Eric Carmen page in order to be treated seriously. Wikipedia bios of living persons are true biographies, warts and all, and sugar coating bios to suppress well publicized indiscretions are frowned upon. I will no longer accept postings on my talk page and will not post anything more on your talk page. Please shift all discussion to the Talk:Eric Carmen page.
