Fyrestorm, of soundtrack fame? YA RLY
Holy shnykies! Ummm...wow... what can I say? I love the soundtrack, and I love the ad for volume seven (a classic), and if I can assist in providing songs, ideas, or photoshop talent at all, don't hesitate to e-mail me. Listen, I hate to burst your bubble, but as someone with interests in both Wikipedia and YTMND, I think they're best left pretty separate, with a few exceptions. Wikipedia is more for encyclopedic things, and things that have proven notability, like Google or Crank Yankers, than for small indie things. Believe me, I've seen my share of people wanting to create articles on their bands or themselves, and it doesn't work out too well. While you and I may know of inner-workings of YTMND and other sites, and while they're interesting to people who are able to comprehend that kind of stuff, people who have never heard of YTMND would not care at all, which is an issue. It's an issue within the Wikipedia Community, but I'm sure that if there was a line in the YTMND and Fads articles, that would work nicely. Happy editing, Mysekurity 05:36, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
YTMND fad links thing
I noticed you deleted all the links on the YTMND fads article. On the talk page we decided it'd be a good idea to put the links on there so that it can't be classified as "original research". Admin abuse section
How would you suggest this section should be changed? I'm sure you can agree that in an article about a site based on user contributions, admin abuse is certainly relevant. Hypothetically, how would you want this section to be modified or reworded? I am up for compromises, I just think that in an article about YTMND, an admin abuse section is certainly necessary, regardless of the content. This is just based on the nature of the site(user contributions), making treatment of normal users very relevant to the subject. Let me know Dr. Ke 20:03, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. However, I must reject your application for the time being. We feel that a minimum of 250 main space edits is necessary to allow a user to establish themselves and become familiar with Wikipedia.
