Michael Finnegan

"Finnegan and his gang famously stole gold and diamonds with a value of over IR£2 million (€2.55 million) from O'Connor's jewellers in Harolds Cross" Yeah, errr, I think you'll find that was the General and it was a decade earlier. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 02:51, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wow, it's like he did everything The General did, but a decade later. You might want to give up on this one:) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 02:55, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Michael Finnegan (Irish Criminal) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Recreating versions of the Michael Finnegan article

Seeing as I saw the first version of the article last night, the one that ripped off the life story of Martin Cahill, there is no way that the article is anything other than a hoax. I remember the General - chances are that I passed him in the street more than once in Rathmines :) - and anyone Irish who saw that article would have said "hoax!" immediately. If you keep recreating this article, an admin will just block your account. Really, it's time to give it a rest. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:15, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
