Language

The readability here is good. I find it to be neutral but I think adding a number about scientific consensus in the carbon cycle section so that nobody tries to make an argument. I don't see any grammar or other types of language problems in what is here so far.

Self-Containment

Without a title I am a bit unsure of the topic and I know that Carbon Capture probably has a page so I would maybe mention it in the intro part with a link and not make it have its own section unless you change it to something like Soil's Carbon Capturing Traits (not a great section title, but something more specific than carbon capture will probably benefit the audience more). I think with the wording how it stands people looking up carbon capture may be inadvertently led to your page. Also, You have Savory mentioned as the title of two sections, you may want to move whatever you're writing in the Savory subsection of recent work up to the larger section about him.

Links and Citations

The citations should be in a ref list not in the text. I know you'll probably change this but I thought it was worth mentioning. I see some great places where you may be able to add links in and out when you make your final draft, especially to the carbon capture page and maybe if there's a page on Savory?
