Control copyright icon Hello FAHAD CARE, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:36, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School

The section above describes various ways to surmount a copyright problem. Even if you own the copyright or are able to license the content, you will be unable to reuse it here. The material was not written for an encyclopedia, but was written to promote the school by creating pride and "school spirit" among the students, teachers, and parents. That is not the purpose of Wikipedia. The text would need to be rewritten entirely to have the right tone for an encyclopedia and to not give undue weight to information that is not encyclopedic.

The bulk of any article should be based on independent sources, in this case not on the school website. If no significant coverage of the school can be found in reliable sources independent of the school, then it should not be a stand alone Wikipedia article. In that case, a few sentences about it (sourced to the school website) should be merged to Patiya Upazila, and the school article should be redirected there. Any further details about it belong on the school website, not here. --Worldbruce (talk) 16:12, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 08:14, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I'm not promoting/advertising of any business. as wikipedia direction I'm agree for changing my account's username. And my recent article which was deleted, it should be restored. Those article isn't violating any terms & conditions of wikipedia. I think it is unethically deleted.

Decline reason:

That new username is no better. Nor have you addressed your inappropriate editing. Yamla (talk) 13:38, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

N.B. The article was deleted through AfD and subsequently under G4, see Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School. Pahunkat (talk) 12:22, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Articles do not have to violate the Terms and Conditions to be deleted. There was a community discussion about the article and it was deleted as a result. Please also review conflict of interest and paid editing. 331dot (talk) 12:35, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

Why my new username is not better? my name `fahad' is already taken here, thats why I can not get this. So what should I do? I've not doing any inappropriate editing. If you think any wrong here it was mistakenly happened. And if you reviewing deleted article with neutral way you can understand those article not violate any terms and conditions of wikipedia.

Decline reason:

First, if one username you like is declined because someone else already has it, putting up the exact same name in your next request is a guarantee of failure (And actually, that account hasn't been used in nine years; we might be open to letting you usurp that account, but see these other two points). Second, there are lots of other names out there; if you're the sort of person who just has to have that username I think your chances of getting along with other people are low enough not to bother. Third, you still haven't addressed our concerns about your apparent conflict of interest. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:35, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I've not seen anyone taken my new proposed username `fahadcs'. It there any problem, you can select a name from here 'fahad_cs, realfahad, realfahadcs, fahad007, fahadcs007' and renamed my username. For `addressed our concerns about your apparent conflict of interest'; I've not any conflict of interest then, now, future about my created article which was deleted. I think that was mistakenly happened & after that I re-edited this and cut down conflicting texts from article as you're described before. You should now review recent deleted article again & I hope you will not find anything in it that violates the terms and condition.

Decline reason:

You responded to my simple question asking what you were hoping to edit in the future by trying to re-litigate an AfD. signed, Rosguill talk 22:13, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rosguill talk It is not clear what you mean. Please don't comment from one place to another again and again, just comment in one place. Why won't my account be unblocked? And why not restored the deleted article? I already had the source attached to my article. I have already answered your question. Judge impartially without being biased. Fahadcs007. (talk 14:16, 25 December 2020 (UTC+6)

Articles are expected to meet certain sourcing standards. When articles fall short of that standard, they are nominated for AfD discussions. The outcome of the deletion discussion for the article you created was deletion because insufficient sources were provided. Repeatedly recreating the article without addressing the issues that were raised at the AfD is tendentious editing, and suggests that you may have a personal connection to Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School, which is a conflict of interest.
You will not be unblocked until you can convince an admin that you intend to do something other than recreate the same article with the same problems again. signed, Rosguill talk 18:05, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have given enough sources to contrast the articles I have created. If you can't verify, that's your disability. There are many articles on Wikipedia that do not have enough sources, but they are still in use. I am working to enrich articles on Wikipedia like other. I have not any personal profit for creating any article. If you can't read the content properly, if you can't translate it, that's your disability. You deleted the article I created because of your personal resentment. You have done this by being biased. Even after answering your question correctly, you keep saying the same thing over and over again without any reason, which shows your biased attitude. Besides, you also called my username outside the Wikipedia guidelines, which is not outside the guidelines at all. You do not know the names format of people from different countries... Many of your administrators' names violate Wikipedia's terms and conditions. Even then, they are still in force. Finally, unlock my account and restore deleted articles. I don't have enough wasted time to say the same thing over and over again. Remember, deleting an article from Wikipedia does not change the history of an organization. Fahadcs007. (talk) 18:21, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's true, it doesn't; and if you just want to document the history of an organization, there are places to do that. Wikipedia does more than that. If you are aware of any inappropriate usernames that violate the username policy (not the "terms and conditions"), keeping in mind that some may be grandfathered, especially among longtime users, you can address that once unblocked. For that to happen, you must make another formal unblock request. 331dot (talk) 19:11, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

Request reason:

  • I have not any intention of causing damage or disruption to Wikipedia.
  • Whatever the purpose of the block, since my words are not important here, I have nothing new to say about.
  • According to your commentary, which is 'damage or disruption', I have no such desire. Rather, I've voluntary desire to enrich Wikipedia, which I take seriously.
  • I will definitely be working on creating necessary content on Wikipedia in the future.

Finally, I would like to say that the admins should take proper action by checking the source of the content properly. Admins need to be more professional in this regard. Must have the ability to understand the content of any language. Deleting content in a hurry is not desirable under any circumstances. Creating a content in wikipedia is not ordinary task, it takes a lot of exertion-time behind it. So I'm hoping to unblocked, so that I can add something better to Wikipedia in the future.

I mistakenly delete `speedy deletion tag'; but as described administrator of wikipedia 'there haven't find 2nd source' which isn't true. `Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School' is a famous school in Patiya, Chittagong, Bangladesh. There are many newspaper produced news about this schools history-culture, it's a govt. approved school which can you verify from govt. education ministry/board's website.
