Wikipedia policy

Some of your recent edits to the Marshall Sylver page appear to be in violation of Wikipedia policies regarding WP:BLP. I see that your account is fairly new so maybe you aren't aware of them. Original research is discouraged as it cannot be verified by reliable, neutral sources. See WP:OR. I'm also concerned that these changes give undue weight to Sylver's legal troubles. See WP:UNDUE. The criminal trial certainly appears to be relevant, but maybe we need more coverage of the seminars that instigated the lawsuits against Sylver, and other coverage beyond just negatives would provide appropriate weight. Thanks for the links, Cmlloyd69. Looking through that talk page was an eye-opener. I didn't add the information except for more detail about the trial, but having read the policies you linked, I see what you mean, the Recent Financial Troubles section is kind of “originally researchy” and I probably should have removed it instead. It's really kind of a crappy article considering how well known he is. I've been looking for information on his seminars but this was all I could find on Wikipedia. Pretty busy, but if I can find some time to burn (I do like writing) I'll see what I can do to pitch in here and elsewhere.Examining life (talk) 20:47, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There has been another flurry of changes on the Marshall Sylver page by a new user calling themselves Donegallian. They show obvious bias in violation of WP:NPOV policy (neutral point of view). We suspect that it might be a sockpuppet for LongLiveReagan or another blocked user. He denies this, along with flinging a lot of accusations of his own. I just want to makes sure you are not responsible for this activity. Creating new user accounts to hide or support malicious activity (sockpuppet) is a violation of Wikipedia policy and could get you permanently banned from editing the site.
