Altered speedy deletion rationale: Metal Alliance Tour 2012

Hello EuroCarGT. I am just letting you know that I deleted Metal Alliance Tour 2012, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. GedUK  11:49, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Haunting Melissa - Speedy Deletion

Hi EuroCarGT, thanks for checking out my page and I'm sorry it seems to have prompted the need for a speedy deletion. As a newcomer I was wondering what I can do to change this? I have read the guidelines before starting and I thought I had followed them. I am open to any suggestions! Thanks

Apologies for removing some of your template from this page. However, I removed those items where I believed the issues to be fixed. Please check now and prune accordingly. Also could you look at the Talk Page there and help out with a technical request there? Thanks. Spankthedolphin (talk) 05:05, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Mark Edward Keim, M.D.

Hello EuroCarGT, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Mark Edward Keim, M.D., a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (talk) 03:12, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at GorillaWarfare's talk page. Message added 03:49, 5 August 2013 (UTC).[reply]

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from QuickRummy, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, please to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion if you feel it should be deleted. Fbryce (talk) 01:47, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CSD tagging

Hey Thomas! I saw you marked Harjot bhinder for speedy deletion as an A7 (not notable) and A1 (no context) deletion. The A7 tag was absolutely correct - this subject is in no way notable. However, it really didn't need an A1 tag because there was enough context for me to understand that there was a subject and he was definitely not notable. A1 deletions are usually even shorter (e.g. "Harjot is awesome."). Don't fret too much - just thought you'd appreciate a little feedback. Feel free to ask me if you ever have questions! Aaqib A.

Hello, EuroCarGT. You requested deletion of Aaqib A., it did give his importance. He was a famous Quran Recitor, soccer president and establisher. And that was quick, you guys didn't let me have time. --Raninghai (talk) 21:31, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CSD of Epilepsy surgery and art

The speedy delete template you have applied Epilepsy surgery and art isn't applicable, I'm afraid. It explicitly states that it is for cases "where there is no free-content material on the page worth saving," and that is not the case here. I'll tag it as a copy paste lead, thoughShawn in Montreal (talk) 21:45, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • It was just a revert. I did not applied the sppedy deletion tag, I was just in Recent Changes, insert the Special:Tags of speedy deletion tag removal and found the article the I'd just restored it. Sorry to confuse you. EuroCarGT 22:09, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging too fast

You tagged Ishaan Sarna as a {{db-test}} two seconds after it was created. That may have been hasty and bitey; the user may have been building the page incrementally (discouraged, but not strictly disallowed) and just committed his first edit when you tagged the article. Admittedly, it looks like the user was writing an autobiography, and it was unlikely the resultant article would have met muster, but you should assume good faith and allow the user some time to do their work. • Alrighty then! I apologize for the fast tagging. Just trying to help Wikipedia out. EuroCarGT 15:08, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • All help is appreciated. (I note that I am particularly attuned to this issue, having been guilty of it myself in the past.) WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:13, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Osvaldo Betancourth Cue speedy deletion declined

National team asserts significance at least. Article had 2 sources (someone thought him significant). User may not understand blanking = G7. Dlohcierekim 03:52, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I know. Author blanked the page, Huggle suggested to put G7. Sorry!! EuroCarGT 03:54, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-a-thon for Ramona Park

Hello -

I am working with the East Grand Rapids MI Public Library as they embark on a GLAM project. I'm a mid-newbie, which is why I'm reaching out....

East Grand Rapids was the home to Ramona Park and to the Jack Rabbit Derby Racer [1]. As a kick-off project they would like to expand Ramona Park during an edit-a-thon. The Library is home to a local history room - a room filled to the ceiling with memorabilia, photos and artifacts from Ramona Park.

The plan is to upload much of this material via Commons (hopefully before the edit-a-thon on October 19, 2013 - coincidentally during Wikipedia Loves Libraries month).

One problem - there are few locally evident Wikipedia editors to actually show up at the library for an edit-a-thon.

Do you think if we set up a Google hangout, you might be interested enough to remote in? There is a possibility of a cool tee-shirt [2] donated by the library, too!

I might be able to provide you/this project with a preview of the historical materials - it seems to me there might be more than one article to create.

Also I've come up with a DYK candidate: Did you know that President Gerald Ford worked at Ramona Park, home to one of three derby racers in the US? (The Ford part is true, not quite sure of the derby racer stat, though!)

Thanks for your consideration, Bdcousineau (talk) 00:01, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Seems cool and interesting, however with school coming in a few days I'll be extremely busy! ///EuroCarGT 16:08, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2013–14 Liverpool F.C. season

You are as guilty of edit warring at 2013–14 Liverpool F.C. season as anyone. This is not an exception to 3RR. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:37, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for part of the dispute at the page. I'll be sure to update you with this situation. ///EuroCarGT 20:45, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You replaced a CSD tag placed by someone other than the article creator, warned them, and removed reliable sources that they entered. Really? I'll go now and replace what ref's are usuable. Dlohcierekim 23:32, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Didn't realize that. Let me look at the page history for my error. Sorry, I'll let you know what I've found, it must have been a mis-clicked. Sorry again. ///EuroCarGT 23:36, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It happens. I did not check the dif's either. Dlohcierekim 23:42, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
