A tag has been placed on Bowtie media requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 16:39, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Joey Pero requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Hello. I notice you're having difficulty with an article apparently about yourself, named "Joey Pero", so I thought I'd explain what's happening. Wikipedia is not a social networking site or webhost - it's an encyclopaedia that publishes articles about notable topics, which are written in a neutral tone. People are strongly discouraged from writing articles about themselves, or about any subject with which they are closely connected (see WP:COI). The page you wrote failed most of Wikipedia's important policies - for example, it was written in the first person, by you about you; it was full of personal comments and chit-chat; it contained no citations or sources to verify any of the claims in the article. In short, it read like a blog or personal website and not like an article in an encyclopaedia, so an administrator deleted it. Please don't recreate it again in that form, as this could eventually result in a block or even a ban. Read Wikipedia:Your first article, and also have a look at WP:N#BAND, which will help you judge whether or not you have had sufficient news coverage to qualify for an article in the encyclopaedia. If you have, you can ask at WP:AFC for someone to write an article about you. Regards, Karenjc 18:45, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your feedback. The article is not about myself. I apologize that it has not met the requirements to sustain this page. I have many articles, sources and media to provide the authenticity of Joey as a celebrity. What can i do to attempt to recreate this page?

Re your message: In order for an article about a musician to remain on Wikipedia, you need to show why he meets the notability requirements for musicians. For example, he may be notable if he has a hit single or album or has been featured in multiple newspaper, magazine, or online articles. Copying his autobiography into a Wikipedia article does not establish his notability nor the proper format for an article. I recommend that you review Wikipedia's help area, the guide to writing your first article, or perhaps use the Article Wizard to assist you in creating the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:54, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
